Exciting news for spotted wolffish aquaculture.
October 16th, Thomas Langhelle from Amar Seafood joined other Norwegian industry partners in the spotted wolffish network at the kickoff meeting for Akvaplan-niva’s new FHF-funded project, OPTIFLEKK. The project aims to optimize production methods and protocols for stable spotted wolffish fry production, generating knowledge that will primarily benefit existing industry actors and could encourage more participants in this part of aquaculture in the future.
The three-year-long project brings together researchers, students, and companies including Aminor and Amar Seafood.
